  1. Top 3 Things to Consider When Placing a Ganesh Figurine at Home Most people consider Lord Ganesha to be a symbol of success, joy, and happiness. However, to acquire his blessings, you would have to place the eco-friendly Ganesh murti at a proper place. Furthermore, you will also need to follow some special ritualistic methods for the same reason. Here are some details that can help you in this aspect. 1.Day of Placement

  2. Many individuals generally install the Ganesh idol at least 10 days before the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. The placement of the figurine needs to be done in temporary construction or structure, which is known as a 'Pandal'. 2.Avahana Ritual is a Must Once it has been placed, the priest would carry out some specific rituals to fill the figurine with signs of life. It is also known as Avahana. This particular ritual is mainly performed along with the chanting of some sacred words or 'bhajans'. 3.Regular Prayers Once the Avahana is done, you will have to perform aartis with candles and light up some small lamps around the figurine. Moreover, while doing the prayers, you would also have to provide a few offerings, such as Dhruva grass, red flowers, etc., to the god. You will have to continue doing all these rituals till the day of Ganesh Chaturthi. After that, you can either keep the idol in its place or you may also immerse it into a water body. Hence, these are a few things that you need to keep in mind while placing a Ganesha idol at your home.
