This medication prevents blood clots from forming in your blood. It can be used before or after surgery. Your doctor may prescribe this if you are suffering from a short- term condition that makes it difficult to move for a while. This medication can be prescribed to prevent blood clots from forming after an attack or unstable angina. It can also be prescribed to prevent blood clots from forming in your dialysis tubes (for people with severe kidney disease). If you have an allergy to enoxaparin or heparin or any other low molecular weight heparins, such as nadroparin or tinzaparin or dalteparin then this medicine should not be used. This medicine should not be taken during pregnancy. Breastfeeding mothers should avoid this medicine. It should be avoided by patients with liver and kidney disease.
