  8. Advancing your thinking into The Campus COMPUTER RESOURCE CENTRE : Technology infrastructure is a significant factor in providing quality management education. Computer resources centre provides IT resources to students, faculty and staff. The Department's Computer Center has the best learning ambience in the state and has a uniquely laid out computer center, networked with dedicated servers having e- com. Software(with special assistance from UGC) . The University has technological advanced learning aids and fully equipped Internet and advanced computer labs, seminar hall, etc. The university has introduced e-governance from the last academic session. HOSTEL :Hostel Facilities (separate for boys and girls) accommodating about 60 persons comfortably. Spacious and well furnished guest rooms. Institute hostel has mess with modern kitchen and runs under most hygienic conditions. STUDENT'S HEALTH CARE :The University Health Centre is located in the campus within easy reach of all the students. It is attended by full time qualified Specialists in General Medicine & etc. One may need it at any time. Consultation and Medicines are free of cost. PARIJA LIBRARY : The UTKAL University Library (Parija was established in 1946 having 337695 Nos. of books and 336 nos. of journals, both Indian and foreign and 3673 nos. of Manuscripts .The Library is completely housed inside the campus. The Library also caters to the needs of all types of readers and research scholars by facilitating borrowing books/journals/photo copies of non-loan able articles and journals from National and Libraries on Inter-Library loan basis. Working hours of the Library are from 9.00 A.M. to 9.00 P.M. on working day. Besides the Parija Library centre has a highly specialized, well stocked and furnished library having about 15,000 volumes of latest books on Agriculture, Agribusiness, cooperation, areas of Functional Management such as Finance, Accounts, Banking, Economics, Rural Development, Law, Computers and other related areas catering to needs of the participants. Besides all leading journals, newspapers, magazines etc are available in the library. Admission/Selection Admission The selection for the MBA(Agribusiness) is based upon the academic performance of candidates, test scores of (CAT/MAT/ICAR) followed by group discussion and personal interview. The candidates, those who have not appeared CAT/MAT/ICAR, admission test, have to appear UMT (Utkal University Admission Test) in the University Campus, Bhubaneswar and the date will be intimated to applicants through separate mail/ letter/phone. Eligibility : The candidate must hold at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline with at least 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks or equivalent from a University or Institution and have an interest in Agriculture, Agro / Food Processing, Rural and allied sectors. The Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidates must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. OR The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Sciences or in Agriculture-related disciplines, with at least 50% marks or equivalent. Final year students who are awaiting to get their result can also apply. Reservation : The Reservation for SC / ST / PWD candidates is applicable as per the UGC rules, subject to meeting the other eligibility criteria for admission. Foreign Students : Foreign students can be admitted under the open and sponsored category. They may submit GMAT or any equivalent scores. Foreign students should be well versed in English language. TOEFL scores would be accepted as an indicator of the same. How to Apply : The candidates will submit the complete form to the Department along with a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 600/- international students may send Pay Order equivalent to INR 1000 drawn in favour of “Centre for Agri-Management”, payable at Bhubaneswar. Application form can also be downloaded from Centre’s website (www.camutkal.org) and filled-in application along with fee may be sent to: Fee & Expenses:The course fee for 2 year program is Rs. payable in two instalments. The fee for international students and students sponsored by NRI's / PIO's is $11,500. This does not include mess charges, hostel rent & electricity, transporting charges and other personal expenses. 2,96,000/- Loan Facilities:Majority of the students admitted to the course previously have availed the educational loan from various Banks. Sponsored Candidates:In the admission process, sponsored candidates are given due weightage for their experience. Candidates can take admission under the following five categories of sponsorship: I) Sponsored by the Agri-Input Companies and Agribusiness Corporate. ii) Plantation owners iii) Sponsorship by Central and State Governments. iv) Sponsorship by International agencies and SAARC countries. v) In addition to above, candidates can also be sponsored by NRls and PIOs. Agribusiness Living Lab (the spirit of innovation) A Student Run Venture Establishment of a Novel Field Lab for MBA (Agribusiness) Students Earlier, the students were imparted knowledge within the class rooms using the AV aids. To give a touch and feel of the technologies/machinery the students were either taken to a laboratory or to the farmers' field/demonstration plots. This was a time consuming process and was dependant and large number of external factors beyond our control. Moreover the students had the liberty of only seeing and few only could work with them. To ensure enriched universal learning experience, the Agribusiness Living Lab was conceived and developed. Keeping in view of the requirement, the centre set up an “Agribusiness Living Lab” in July 2016.
