  5. Important Amenities to Look for When Choosing a Romantic Bed and Breakfast • Private Bathroom The bulk of bed-and-breakfasts are located in older, Victorian-era homes. The home sometimes has several bedrooms, it may only contain one full bathroom. This means you need to share with the other customers. This could not be a problem for some individuals, but there is nothing charming about sharing the tub with a complete stranger. Make sure to discover a B&B that offers a full private bath-- some even provide a Jacuzzi option.

  6. Important Amenities to Look for When Choosing a Romantic Bed and Breakfast • Heating and Cooling There's absolutely nothing even worse than taking a getaway and finding yourself miserably hot or freezing cold while in a room for which you are paying excellent money. Since they are located within older homes (which tend to be drafty), bed-and-breakfasts have to work a little tougher to keep you comfortable. See to it your B&B is equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans or a heater and fireplace, depending upon the.

  7. Important Amenities to Look for When Choosing a Romantic Bed and Breakfast • Modern Electronics Although you are retreating from a stressful and active life when taking a couple of days at a B&B, you are not necessarily retreating from the field. Hence, amenities like cable television and free Wi-Fi are huge pluses. Numerous B&B owners find a method to hide these contemporary electronics in big pieces of furniture that fit the house's decoration.

  8. Important Amenities to Look for When Choosing a Romantic Bed and Breakfast • Fine Breakfast It seems like a no-brainer for a facility that has "breakfast" in its name not all morning meals are produced the same. If you are into the morning meal and want even more than cold cereal and fruit to break your quick, discover a B&B that offers a premium spread. A check out to the house's website is normally all it requires to identify what kind of grub it dishes up. Bed-and-breakfasts provide a real home-away-from-home feel. Compared to the sterile monotony of hotel chains, B&B s are warm, inviting and friendly. They likewise offer privacy and are best for a charming trip. Choose a b&b with the right features for a comfy, memorable stay.

  11. The Mission Inn Susan Babineau-Roberts and her husband, Raymond Roberts, cordially invite you to experience the charm of their California Spanish Mission Style Bed and Breakfast. You will find The Mission Inn guest rooms to be bright, airy, tastefully decorated, creative restful place for the weary traveler as was the purpose of the original twenty-one (21) California missions.

  12. The Mission Inn Susan and Raymond purchased The Mission Inn in June 2002. Beginning the first day, the Inn had guests, as the summer season had arrived. Through the summer and fall, Susan took careful notes of those aspects of the building and grounds she wanted improved. In October 2002, Susan took a trip to California to visit all 21 of the original missions, from San Diego to San Francisco. Beginning in January 2003 Susan began to make significant improvements to the Inn. Each guest room was themed after one of the missions, using colors and designs Susan had observed on her trip. The common areas were themed to reflect the warmth of the missions. Each year additional improvements are planned and implemented. Return guests are always finding the "little changes" that reflect the attention to detail so noticeable at the Inn.

  13. Hospitality Begins With Your Call! In Cape May, the Bed & Breakfast capital of the world, there is one B&B that stands out from the rest. The Mission Inn is proof that not everything in Cape May is Victorian. Be transported to California, to an earlier time, through the artwork, tile work, woodwork, murals, exposed brickwork and wooden ceiling beams, vaulted ceiling and our lovely porch and veranda. At The Mission Inn you will receive warm hospitality, excellent service and respect for your privacy. If you are a person who appreciates value, who enjoys the better things in life presented in a simple comfortable manner, The Mission Inn is for you.

  14. Hospitality Begins With Your Call! The Mission Inn was built in 1912 by Nelson Z. Graves inspired by his turn of the century business trip to the Pacific Coast. The Mission Inn is a perfect example of California Spanish Mission architecture. Its stained glass window, Flemish gable and pergola veranda contribute to the warm feeling of this al fresco house and is a contributing architectural style to Cape May's National Historic Landmark designation.

  15. Hospitality Begins With Your Call! Find romance in Cape May's most unique bed and breakfast. The Mission Inn's three Rs - Romantic, Relaxing, Rejuvenating - in a California casual, yet luxurious atmosphere. A large "pocket" window provides generous morning sunlight and a "peek" of the Atlantic Ocean. The Great Room has a sixteen (16) foot high barreled ceiling, floor to ceiling brick fireplace, hardwood floors and accenting woodwork all original to the house. An original signed and dated Nina Scull painting portraying a Russian peasant women graces the fireplace. Nina Scull is a famous local painter who owned and resided in the house.
