Order Notifier extension for Magento 2 User Guide Buy Milople Order Notifier extension for Magento 2 1.Introduction The order notifier extension by Milople allows the admin to receive the notification whenever a customer places a new order in the store. The admin can receive the notification via push notification, SMS, voice call, and WhatsApp. 2. Extension Configuration Once you are done with downloading the extension file, go to the Magento backend and configure the extension. Check the below screenshot. 2.1 General Configuration Here, you need to enter the serial key that you will find from the “My Account” dashboard. Enter that to activate the module. The status functionality allows the admin to enable or disable the extension for their Magento 2 store. Then you can select any of the options listed for order notification: Voice call, SMS, Push notification, and WhatsApp. 3. Voice call configuration Enable voice call by selecting YES to receive calls as an order notification. It will give you the notification via calling on your number. To receive the voice call notification you need to create an account on Twilio. Twilio provides a third-party API. Once you create an account, you will get the “Account SID” and “Auth Token”. Enter Account SID and Auth Token in the credential. See the following screenshot for a better understanding. 3.1 Voice configuration Then, you need to complete the voice configuration. Fill in all the required fields. The admin gets the flexibility to repeat the voice in the call. They can fill the number in the “Loop voice”. Enter the message that you want in the voice call. It will be converted from text to speech. Admin can select the voice of any gender from the options like men, women or Alice [Alice supports multiple languages]. Admin can set the language of the voice. 3.2 Phone Numbers Admin will get the caller’s phone number from the Twilio dashboard. Enter the phone number of the caller. Then, enter the phone number of a person or a recipient who will receive the voice call notification. 4. SMS configuration Select YES from the options to enable SMS notification. 4.1 Credentials To receive the SMS notification you need to create an account on Twilio to get the SMS credits. Twilio is a third-party API provider. Once you will create an account, you will get the “Account SID” and “Auth Token”. Enter Account SID and Auth Token in the credential. See the following screenshot for a better understanding. 4.2 Message Content Admin can set the message content of the SMS that he wants to see in the notification. Admin can see the real-time values in the SMS notification like “Total order amount” or “Customer’s name”. 4.3 Phone numbers You will get the sender’s phone number from the Twilio dashboard. Enter the phone number of the sender here. Then, enter the phone number of a person or a receiver who will receive the SMS notification. 5. Push notification configuration Firstly, enable push notification to get the desktop notification whenever customers place an order. Here, you need to use the third-party API like one signal. You can create an account on one signal to get the API key and APP ID. One signal is provided free service. You will find the API key and App ID from the dashboard. Enter the APP ID and Rest API key in the credentials. Check the following screenshot. 5.1 Message Content The admin can also set the heading of your notification for better understanding. Admin can see the real-time values in the push notification like “Total order amount” or “Customer’s name”. Set the message that you want to display with push notification. 6. WhatsApp configuration To get the notification on WhatsApp enables the WhatsApp message to YES. It is necessary to get the API key and API secret from a third-party API provider. Order notifier extension supports Nexmo/Vonage. Register on Nexmo/Vonage to get the API key and API secret from your account dashboard. Fill in the API key and API secret in credentials. Check out the following screenshot. 6.1 Message Content Admin can set the message content of the WhatsApp message that you want to see when pop-up the notification. Admin can see the real-time values in the WhatsApp message like “Total order amount” or “Customer’s name”. 6.2 Phone Numbers The admin will get the sender’s phone number from the Nexmo/Vonage dashboard. Enter the phone number of the sender here. Then, enter the phone number of a person or a receiver who will receive the WhatsApp notification. 7.
