  1. Entertainment at Hyderabad Entertainment in Hyderabad. Art, Culture, Theater, Dance, Gaming, Outdoors, Resorts, etc. - Cluburb http://www.cluburb.com/entertainment

  2. INTERVIEW: ATUL KASBEKAR http://www.cluburb.com/entertainment

  3. A chemical engineer who pursued his passion to become India's ace photographer, AtulKasbekar photographs the most beautiful women in the most stunning locations world over. Cluburb catches up with him in a conversation to give you an insight into his journey. Read on. C: Who was AtulKasbekar before getting into photography? AK: I was a geek studying chemical engineering who eventually dropped out because I didn't enjoy what I was doing. I never wanted to do something that didn't make me happy and photography made me extremely happy. C: What was your first assignment? AK: I actually had two assignments simultaneously - Park Avenue and Sheetal, both clothing stores. http://www.cluburb.com/entertainment

  4. C: What are the challenges you face as a photographer? AK: The technical side is very easy to grasp actually. What I find difficult is dealing with the people. No two people are alike, so it's a lot of work and an ongoing process. C: Which cities are your favorite to shoot in? AK: It's more the location than the city actually. We just shot in Turkey and it is a lovely place to shoot at. Cape Town is definitely one of my favorite locations. San Francisco has some stunning locations. Even though I've spent a lot of time there, I haven't managed to shoot there. I hope to though. http://www.cluburb.com/entertainment

  5. C: Advice for budding photographers? AK: Don't get into photography if you're trying to make it a business. Do it because you have the passion for it. There's a process that goes behind becoming a photographer. You must first learn the process before getting into the business of it. Apart from that, I think more women need to become photographers. There are a few, in India maybe 1 out of 10 women who are photographers. I think they add a lot of sensitivity to a shoot. C: Which female photographers do you like? AK: There's NishaKutty, Sheena Sippy (Ramesh Sippy's daughter) who have an eye for detail. In the international market, there's Anne Geddes who has done some stunning shots. http://www.cluburb.com/entertainment

  6. C: What about in India? AK: I love shooting in studios really. There's a lot that goes into a shoot and when you want to shoot in a particular location here, you get harrowed by the cops, the goons etc - because there's more revenue when it comes to locations here. It's so much easier in a studio. C: How has your journey with the KF calendar been? Any favorite locations? AK: It's been a dream project. Dr Mallya decides where to go and I'm asked no questions about budgets. He knows his destinations and he's been inevitably right every time he chooses a location. The lights, cuisine, surroundings etc all of it goes into contributing to the good times. We've shot twice in Thailand and South Africa and the beauty of it is that, we have not repeated locations at all. This year's calendar has come out really well, we've got some brilliant shots. http://www.cluburb.com/entertainment

  7. FIVE SPOOKY PLACES IN HYDERABAD http://www.cluburb.com/entertainment

  8. You've always wanted to go trick or treating, it's candy and costumes after all! Well, here is a short list of houses you definitely don't want to go trick or treating this Halloween. Kundanbagh Haunted House Perhaps the most infamous of the bunch. The story goes like this... In a house in Kundanbagh, Begumpet, lived three women who were strange to say the least. Neighbours say they would light candles late in the night and walk around the house. The mother would scare away people by swinging an axe at them and they even hung bottles filled with blood in their verandah. Students from St.Francis had lodged a complaint against them too some time earlier. The family had suddenly vanished in June 2002 and it wasn't until a few months later, that people found out all three of them had died. http://www.cluburb.com/entertainment

  9. DhedLakhGhar The house was built nearly 40 years ago for the price of one and half lakh which at the time was a considerable sum of money. Hence the name. The story goes that the three inhabitants of the house were struck by such misfortune that no one dares to live in that house. Apparently the first owner's wife died suddenly on the day of house warming ceremony, the second owner's wife set herself ablaze and the third owner hung himself. Those who live around the house claim to have heard strange noises coming from it, some times even the voice of a woman crying. http://www.cluburb.com/entertainment

  10. Khairatabad Science college What was once a science college, now lies abandoned and is considered to be haunted by the dead whose bodies were used in the labs. Once the building was taken in governmental care, a guard was placed at the building. Unfortunately, the guard was found dead next morning. It is said that sparks and apparitions can be seen in the building and anyone who dares to enter does not come back. Ramoji Film City You'd be surprised to know that a place as crowded is considered to be one of Hyderabad's most haunted places. Said to be built the grounds of a war and haunted by the souls of those who lost their lives during the war. There are stories of strange things happening, movie lights tipping over, people being pushed, knocks on doors and ransacking of rooms. http://www.cluburb.com/entertainment

  11. Erramanzil's Sleepy Hollow A few lanes down Erramanzil colony is a house that is believed to be haunted by a headless spirit. The spirit is apparently one of a man who was killed on his wedding night by debt collectors around 50 years ago. He was so attached to his house that his spirit is said to still roam the building. However, there have been no instances of the spirit bothering anyone, it seems to only ward off intruders. http://www.cluburb.com/entertainment
