  2. What is Vape Juice? Vape juice or e-liquid is actually a surprisingly simple product, especially when you compare it to the complex and chemical-laden process of preparing cigarette tobacco. Most of the e-liquids in the market consist of four ingredients, including propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerin (VG), nicotine, and flavoring agents.   3. Propylene Glycol With over 2.16 million metric tons produced every year, propylene glycol (PG) is one of the world’s most commonly used chemicals. It even bears the “Generally Regarded as Safe” designation. The presence of this designation proves it will not harm the body when consumed orally. Thanks to its useful properties, PG is used in various oral and topical products.

  4. Vegetable Glycerin Propylene glycol is produced synthetically, but vegetable glycerin (VG) is a natural chemical, and it is quite common because it is a byproduct of soapmaking. Some of the VG created during the production of soap is added back into the soap for its moisturizing properties.
