Supports church’s mission 8. Ensures your needs will be met 9. Meets needs of God’s people 10. Reminds that God is owner & provider of all we have

  2. 1. God is proved by your tithing Bring your full tithe to the Temple treasury so there will be ample provisions in my Temple. Test me in this and see if I don't open up heaven itself to you and pour out blessings beyond your wildest dreams Malachi 3:10 (Msg.)

  3. 2. God is honored by your giving Honor GOD with everything you own;     give him the first and the best. Proverbs 3:9 (Msg.)

  4. 3.Helps keep your priorities (heart) straight. It's obvious, isn't it? The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being. Matthew 6:21 (Msg.)

  5. 4. You are in position for a blessing Bring your full tithe to the Temple treasury so there will be ample provisions in my Temple. Test me in this and see if I don't open up heaven itself to you and pour out blessings beyond your wildest dreams. Malachi 3:10 (Msg.)

  6. 5. It guards you from materialism Ineverything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' Acts 20:35

  7. 6. God loves a cheerful giver Remember: A stingy planter gets a stingy crop; a lavish planter gets a lavish crop. I want each of you to take plenty of time to think it over, and make up your own mind what you will give. That will protect you against sob stories and arm-twisting. God loves it when the giver delights in the giving.  God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you're ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done…” 2 Corinthians 9:6-12
