  3. PGCE Primary • Choose between: • Primary Early Years Education (3-7 years) • Primary Education (7-11 years) • Primary French • (7-11 years) • Primary Spanish • (7-11 years)

  4. PGCE Primary entry requirements • GCSEs in English, Maths & Double Science at C or above (or equivalent) • Honours Degree (normally 2:1) *contact Faculty for more info. • Minimum of two weeks recent (within past two years) work experience in a primary school/early years setting • Entry also subject to CRB, medical clearance and interview

  5. PGCE Secondary • Nine subjects: • D&T • Art & Design • Mathematics • History • English • Modern Languages • Science: Biology • Business Education • Geography

  6. PGCE Secondary entry requirements • GCSEs in English & Maths at C or above (or equivalent) • Honours Degree (normally 2:2) with 50% in related subject • Between one and seven days (within past two years) work experience in a state secondary school • Entry also subject to CRB, medical clearance and interview

  7. PGCE programme • One-year full time • Very intensive • Block Professional Practice • Professional Practice organised by School of Education placements team
