  1. Tips to Protect Your Bunker’s Floor During Construction W Tips to Protect Your Bunker’s Floor During Construction Work ork If you are a bunker owner or a seasoned contractor, following the best construction practices will avoid your floor from getting damaged. Taking proper precautions will secure your new floors of a home bunker and save you remodeling costs. If there is an area in your bunker that does not require renovation, then using temporary floor protection film can be of great help. It is important to protect your floors from stain, polish, boot stamps, and dust in general. Given below are a few tips that will help you in protecting your floor during construction work: Clean up as you go - The best way to make sure that your floors are not damaging is by cleaning up towards the end of the day. Remove things from the floor that might cause damage. Cleaning up after every stage of remodeling is a good practice to remove unnecessary clutter and debris from the floor. If you are working with a constructor, ask them to clean up after each day's work. The job site will be much cleaner reducing the risk of your floor being damaged by coincidence. Have a demolition pathway -

  2. If you are in the remodeling or the demolition phase, try and use the same pathways through the additional mess you are creating. This will keep the dirt in check, and you could use a temporary floor covering in certain areas. This will protect your floor from paint stains and polishes. Another essential practice is always to keep your skip bin positioned near to the door. Protection against scratching - One of the easiest ways in which the floor can get damaged is through scratches. Fine lines from scratches can come from multiple sources. This even includes using temporary floor protection products when they are not suitable for a particular job in home bunker design. For example, using regular cardboards can cause more damage to the floors instead of protecting them. Using carpets, rugs, or newspaper is not the right way to protect the flooring. You will have to use specialized products if you want an extra layer of protection.
