The Requirement for First Responder Course Students should have to complete a PHECC Cardiac First Response community course. Students must show the CFR certificate before the first responder course starts. This is a separate CFR certificate or it is a professional first-aid certificate.
Duration of first responder course The first responder course is having a duration of 40 hours or if calculated in days then it will just take 5 days which excludes the section of Cardiac First Response. The EFR course can be provided to you online in several evenings or weekends as per your requirement.
Assessment of EFR Course The assessment for the EFR course will be given in both the practical skills and theory exam. The theory examination will be in a multiple-choice examination (MCQ); the practical exam is evaluated by using your skills and situation given which is based on practical assessments.
Provide Certification after successful completion of EFR course After successful completion of this emergency response course, all the students will receive an Emergency First Response certificate. This certificate will be valid until 3 years after the completion of the EFR course. For maintaining an Emergency First Response certification, students have to separately maintain their CFR certification course.
