  2. Introduction Petrophysics Consultant In 2022, the Bekapai oil field, found seaward of the Mahakam Delta in East Kalimantan in Indonesia, commends its 50th commemoration. The Bekapai field was found in April 1972 by Total alongside its accomplice, Japex. The field was practically unseen had Total's investigation group surrendered its investigation penetrating effort subsequent to boring six dry wells. With the disclosure of the Bekapai field, Total Indonesie proceeded to find many huge oil and gas fields in the Mahakam block - Tunu, Sisi-Nubi, Tambora, Handil, and Peciko. Albeit the Bekapai isn't so large as different fields in the Mahakam block, the Bekapai field is the most notable field in the Mahakam block being the principal oil field that was found by Total Indonesie in East Kalimantan. A decent park in Balikpapan is named after Bekapai - Bekapai Park.

  4. FIELD EXPANSION AND TRANSFORMATION All out Indonesie started the Phase 1 field development project in 2008. The organization penetrated 9 advancement wells and creation expanded to 10,000 BOPD and 46 MMSCFD of gas by 2013. With the achievement accomplished in Phase 1 Expansion, the organization directed a 3D seismic overview to evaluate the capability of the Bekapai field for additional turn of events.
