Mauricio Claver-Carone served as the President of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) from 2020 to 2022, where he led the IDB to record-setting financing levels of $23.4 billion. Prior to this, he served as the Deputy Assistant to the President of the United States and Senior Director for Western Hemisphere Affairs at the National Security Council.
