Born in 1563 in Goindval, Punjab, he was the son of Guru Ram Das Ji, the fourth Guru, and Bibi Bhani. From an early age, he exhibited a deep commitment to spirituality and community service, qualities that would define his leadership. One of Guru Arjan’s most significant contributions was the compilation of the **Adi Granth**, the sacred scripture of Sikhism. Completed in 1604, this monumental work brought together hymns and writings from the first five Gurus as well as various saints from different backgrounds, including Hindu and Muslim traditions. His vision of inclusivity emphasized the universal message of love, devotion, and the oneness of God.
