  3. Birth Certificate The evidence of an individual’s identity and his related citizenship rights Who is to ask for it? For it, NRIs have 2 alternates: Government entity- MCD Online NRI websites- S2NRI and many more Document required: Hospital’s papers and certificate Address proof Parents’ name, identity and address proof Application form

  4. Mark-sheet/Transcript: An authentic proof of undertaking exams and obtained score Who is to Who is to concern? These two substitutes can get you these: School/ College authority Online NRI services renderers, like S2NRI Document required: Student’s details Address and identity proof

  5. Marriage Certificate A testimony of an individual’s marital status Where to apply for it? In the office of Sub-Divisional Magistrate Online website of the state government or, volunteer NRI services providers Online registration may be obtained in 15 days post marriage solemnized under Hindu Marriage Act. Certificate of matrimony under Special Marriage Act may take 60 days in delivery. Documents required: Completely filled & duly attested application form by spouses. Address Proof: Voter ID, Ration Card, Passport, Driving Licence Both spouses’ birth certificate Separate affidavit of both spouses Aadhar Card Marriage invitation card

Registrar of death in the local body authorities Online services for NRIs Documents required: Birth proof of the deceased An affidavit stating time and date of the death A copy of aadhar or ration card Application form and fee for stamp Certificate of burial ground or hospital where the death occurred
