  2. IPL 2020 is all set to roll from September 19 and millions of cricket fans will be tuning in. However, in case you did not know, Hotstar, the official streaming partner for the Indian Premier League (IPL) has decided to move the match live streams behind a paywall this season. The IPL 2020 final will be played on November 10. To watch these matches live, you will have to subscribe to the Disney+ Hotstar’s VIP plan through Jio broadband or your access will be confined to five minutes of complimentary access.

When is IPL commencing? • To recall, Jio along with Hotstar has been livestreaming all IPL matches for the past few times using its JioTV app. • IPL 2020 will be commencing on September 19 and will continue until November 10. This is the first time IPL will not be taking place in India. Instead, it will be taking place in the UAE.
