This degree provides the students with the required skills to build a career in business and management. In addition to providing holistic education, MBA also offers a platform to develop leadership skills, growth in the professional network, accelerate career opportunities and earn a handsome salary. MBA or Masters of Business Administration was first started in the 19th or 20th century in the United States. During this time the country was at the peak of industrialisation and managed the industries that required scientific management skills. To satisfy the demand of skilled individuals the first business schools were established in the United States. After a few years it was seen that MBA has become the most popular graduate programs and more and more students enrolled into this programme.
