  1. What are your plans for this Christmas?

  2. Christmas is fast approaching and that means it’s time to get out the decorations, prepare your elf’s clothes, make your grocery lists and prepare for a jolly holiday season with your family. But, unlike Thanksgiving, the holidays don’t always come with a strict agenda or schedule! So how do you plan for something like Christmas? The answer: Go about it in an organized fashion! The first thing you should do is talk to everyone in your household to take notes on what they would like to do during this year's festivities. If you're hosting, try organizing different menus for each course of each meal so that there is something that every member of your household will hopefully enjoy (even if it’s just making one dish vegetarian-friendly). When planning activities, try to make the ones you do together family-oriented. Whether it’s a trip to a local museum or a day of baking by the fireplace, these activities will definitely be full of memories that your family won’t forget. Make sure to put personalized name labels on so all the equipment that you’re going to bring will be organized.

  3. The next step is planning for each individual person in your household. If you have young kids, this part may be especially tricky since children under the age of six often change their minds pretty quickly! You can either plan multiple activities per day or let them stay up late on Christmas Eve so they can unwrap their presents at night instead of first thing in the morning. Additionally, you can put out wrapped boxes with their names on them as “mailboxes” and fill them with things like books, trinkets, and candy! Make sure to thank you elf on the shelf, because he’s the one who informs Santa if you’re naughty or nice for the whole year. If you’re traveling far to be with your family for this holiday season or you aren't excited about cooking all day, don't fret. You can always order some food to save time (and sanity, let's be honest). And if everyone is willing to chip in, you can also hire a cleaning service to come once over before the holidays begin. All of these little perks will go a long way in making not only Christmas but the rest of the year run smoother! What are your plans for this Christmas? Why don’t you write them down on our Facebook page so we can see what ideas you have! for sure those are all exciting and fun! Also, feel free to share any tips for having a stress-free holiday season with your family?

  4. Daily calendar Today is Eat-in [or eat out] Although many people like to go out and enjoy a nice restaurant for Christmas, you can also bring all the ingredients together and make it a cozy dinner with your family. No need to order food for everyone either! If you’re cooking at home, everybody can bring their own dish along and share it with everyone else; if you’re going to a restaurant, let each other know in advance so you don't run into any problems. 24 Dec Rest assured, this is just as proper as doing things the traditional way…yet so much fun at the same time too! It gives you an opportunity to really introduce yourself alongside those who are new among your family circle and that includes your elf on the shelf.

  5. It’s the most wonderful time of the year….

  6. Yes, it is! The holiday spirit isn’t about when you go out and buy presents; it’s when you take a moment and enjoy yourself with your loved ones. Christmas should be all about family and gratitude, not only towards one another but also for what we have in our lives. It may sound cliche or cheesy to say this but if we make the effort to keep that view in mind throughout December, I swear we will enjoy ourselves so much more than any other year before. If you want to create some traditions for your own family, there are plenty of ideas online. Just remember: do things as a family. To conclude, make sure to make things as easy for yourself as possible by checking the list twice. Additionally, do not allow yourself to be stressed out about what you’re going to do, whom you’re going to spend it with or how much money you have available. Christmas is supposed to be fun, so try your utmost best to keep that in mind at all times! I hope this article has inspired you and motivated you enough to take that necessary step into making things easier for yourself Merry Christmas everyone and enjoy the most wonderful time of the year !
