  1. THINK LIKE EUROPEAN- ACT LOCALLY - ESC IN PORTUGAL Augustyna Meyer

  2. ABOUT ME Hi! My name is Augustyna. I am 25 years old girl from Poland(Krokowa) and I have done ESC project in Lisbon for 6 months. And now let me tell you how it all went ...?

  3. WHAT IS ESC? The European Solidarity Corps is a European Union program for young people aged 18 to 30. It offers opportunities to volunteer, do internships, or work on social projects across Europe and beyond. All essential costs like travel, accommodation, food, and insurance are covered. It's a great way to gain experience, help others, and explore new cultures while making a real impact.

  4. HOW DID IT START? I had always wanted to go abroad and try living in another country. At first, I hoped to do it through Erasmus, but unfortunately, I never got the chance during my studies. I found out about the ESC program from a friend. I’ve always been passionate about traveling and helping others. Since childhood, I’ve been actively involved in various charity events, so when I found a project in Lisbon, I sent my application right away.

  5. WHERE AND WHEN? 1 OF DECEMBER 2024 - 3TH OF JUNE 2025 AT ASSOSIACIAO SPIN IN LISBON, PORTUGAL

  6. WHAT WAS THE PROJECT ABOUT? “Think European – Act Locally” was a diverse and dynamic project that allowed me to grow in several areas. My main responsibilities were in marketing and communication — I created content for social media, prepared promotional materials, worked on newsletters, and helped shape the public image of the organization. Another big part of my role involved taking care of the hostel and supporting its guests. I made sure everyone felt welcomed, answered questions, organized group activities, and handled day-to-day needs. I also led sessions for interns who were doing their placements with us — helping them get started, guiding them through their responsibilities, and supporting their learning process.

  7. WHAT WERE MY TASKS? Creating applications forms and newsletters Social Media content: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok Take part in workshops and event promoting Promoting Erasmus+ projects at university and school fairs Coordinating and participating in projects with partner organizations such as "Youthfull.
