  2. There are a lot of different processes in the manufacturing world. One of them is extrusion. The main purpose of this process is to create products that have a fixed cross section. In comparison to other manufacturing processes, extrusion seems to be advantageous. This is because it allows creating complex cross-sections with materials that are brittle by nature. Extruded products also have a perfect finish. In addition to that, products made by solid rubber extrusion are smooth, soft, biocompatible, have transparency and are resistant to tear. Manufacturers like Lusida Rubber Products extrude materials like Chloroprene, Butyl, Viton™, Nitrile, Neoprene, SBR, NBR, Natural Rubber and EPDM. In addition to that, the methods employed during manufacturing are approved by FDA. Apart from solid rubber extrusion, there is sponge rubber extrusion as well. It is quite similar to the former but involves addition of chemicals during processing. This lets you use it for several applications. Most of the extruded products include extruded seals and extrusion seals with wire carrier. These are widely used for different purposes. Extruded seals are used for pumps, mills, industrial equipment, automobiles, construction, fuel tanks, electronic enclosures and much more. In fact, you would find these seals in doors and windows so that wind and water don’t enter into your house.
