  1. U.K. consumers buy groceries online, but only  a third say it is easy A new study has revealed the buying behavior and the opinions of the shoppers  who purchase from U.K. online grocery shops. Almost threequarters of the consumers in U.K. have shopped  online for  groceries and most of them are doing this on a regular basis with the easy  options available online, including exclusive offers in the form of Food and drink  promo code  and other discount codes. Surprisingly, only onethird of this  population feel that the online shopping experience is convenient, as revealed by  eDigital Research in one of its recent survey. They surveyed 2,000 consumers regarding them habits in  Online grocery  shopping and closely monitored the behavior of all those who used the online  shopping portals to purchase food and drink at least every three months. On an average, there are three quarters of the total British shoppers who use  online shops, saying that they spend 15 minutes or more in order to complete an  online grocery order, with one in five taking more than half an hour. This  eDigital Research  says that a majority of grocery shoppers spend time in  searching for everyday items online.

  2. Half of the grocery shoppers who had responded to the survey said that online Half of the grocery shoppers who had responded to the survey said that online  grocery shopping consumes much of their time, thus signaling the retailers to  develop and enhance the online shopping experience for groceries and other food  and drink items. Other revelations of their survey include: 1. Brank loyalty is shown by less than 10% of the online grocery shoppers. 2. Nearly 53% said that they switch brands frequently 3. Only 10% of the online grocery shoppers said that that they felt too much  advertisements were being shown to them. This shows that the retailers  might want to increase the number of advertisements. The consumers in U.K. are now spending 6.5 billion pounds (US $11.06 billion)  buying groceries online, as revealed by a research firm IDG. This gives a better  understanding of how the consumers are interacting with online grocers and  what they like and dislike as this again could help the retailers grow online  grocery sales as per the statements of eDigital Research.
