Asbestos Building Inspection Services Pre-Demolition - Pre-Renovation Asbestos Surveys OSHA Compliant Asbestos Surveys Lozier Environmental Consulting, Inc. provides New York State Department of Labor certified inspectors to conduct asbestos surveys in accordance to EPA and New York State Code Rule 56 procedures and guidelines.

  4. Asbestos Abatement Design Services Site Investigation Review of existing documents, surveys, and drawings; field inspections; interviews. Additional sampling may be required to include in the comprehensive inventory of asbestos containing materials. Specification Development The Project Specification includes standard documents, general conditions and requirements, form of bid, project requirements, and drawings.

Mold Remediation Remediation inspections are conducted in conjunction with non-viable air sampling to determine completeness as achieved by the remediation contractor, and for re-occupation of the building.

Project Monitoring The services of a New York State Department of Labor certified Asbestos Abatement Project Monitor may also be retained to oversee the scope, timing, phasing and/or remediation methods to be utilized on any asbestos project.

  7. Food & Water Analysis Water Analysis Lozier is certified by the New York State Department of Health Environmental Laboratory Approval Program for potable and non-potable waters. Including: total and fecal Coliform (E.coli) organisms, heterotrophic plate count, Enterococci, Iron Bacteria. Food Analysis Lozier Environmental Consulting, Inc. provides food analysis for companies with QA/QC monitoring programs. Food analysis includes Total Coliform/MPN, E.coli/MPN, Standard Plate Count, Listeria, Salmonella, Staphylococci, pH and Yeast and Mold.

  8. Legionella Water Analysis Lozier Environmental Consulting, Inc. is certified by NYS ELAP to test for Legionella species in potable and non-potable water sources (ISO 11731). The Protection Against Legionella regulation requires that all Legionella culture analyses be performed by a laboratory approved by the New York State Environmental Laboratory Approval Program (ELAP) to perform such analyses. Legionella is a type of bacterium found naturally in freshwater environments, like lakes and streams. It can become a health concern when it grows and spreads in human made building water systems like: Shower heads and sink faucets Cooling towers (structures that contain water and a fan as part of centralized air- cooling systems for building or industrial processes) Hot tubs that are not drained after each use Decorative fountains and water features Hot water tanks and heaters Large plumbing systems
