However, there is another stream called B.Com (Hons) course which also offers excellent career opportunities for students who choose to pursue higher studies after completing their graduation. Commerce College in Faridabad is one of the best. B. Tech is a professional degree that generally takes four years, and it's more on the practical side than a theoretical one. The syllabus of B. BTech can be studied at any university, but most universities award their degrees after 10+2 or 12th standard exams only! Compared to B.Com, the B. Tech degree is more revered in terms of jobs and remuneration packages. The number of job opportunities is not less than that of a person who has completed his/her graduation from college, but it may also be more than he/she can handle at one time or another. In addition to this, you get many offers compared to those who have only completed their schooling. Hence, it will be difficult for them to choose between both courses because they have nothing else apart from their studies on hand right now. But if you compare them, then you will find out that there is no difference whatsoever between both courses except one thing-a few percent extra money could be added onto your salary packet while working after completing your graduation because most companies prefer hiring graduates over non-graduates due to their belief regarding higher productivity level among them than others. If a student wants to learn the core computer languages and become a developer, they should opt for a CS course, while others can go with an IT course. CS is more on the fundamentals side. It is more on the applications side. CS focuses on Java, C++, PHP, etc., while IT focuses on Visual Basic, ASP.NET, MVC, etc. B.Com (Hons) is a 3-year course that includes core subjects such as Financial accounting, Cost accounting, Company law, Indirect taxation, Computer applications in business, etc. It is a three-year course that prepares students for higher studies like IAS, IRS officers, etc. It also prepares them for higher education like MBA or MCA degrees after passing out from its respective colleges/universities.
