  1. To Help Your Company Soar Help Your Company Soar At Business Events Business Events Conferences are a great place to network and boost your business. When it comes to representing your brand at a business event, you want to provide your audience with information that they can walk away having a full picture of what your company is and what you offer. Before you step into the conference, you will want to establish your goals and what you hope to achieve from the business event. This can be brand development, increasing your brand recognition or you may want to focus on generating leads or even launching a new product. Deciding on how to introduce your brand will be based on your goals and what you want to achieve. It doesn't matter what your business event goals area, they should form the foundation of your marketing materials, interactions and presentations. You need to keep your goals in mind when preparing to introduce your business at any conference. Whether you are making one on one connections or you are presenting your brand on stage, you should have five points to focus on. The first point you want to focus on is a company overview. This should include history, industry and how you are positioned in the market place. Ensure you combine information on any services, products and recent accomplishments you have achieved. This is your elevator pitch, you need to keep it to the point and short, still ensuring you provide enough information on what your business does as a whole. The next important point to focus on is your company values and mission. These are important to who you are as a brand and how your business operates. This is important for businesses that work on products or services to improve society, such as green technologies or medical engineering, for example. In addition to this, while bearing in mind the goals you have in place for the business event, you will want to focus on the products and services you provide. This can be used to generate new leads and highlight new products. If it's a new product you want to introduce, take some time to provide a brief description of the product and what it does. If it's a service you want to introduce, explain how it is relevant to the audience. You can offer to do a quick demonstration during the intermissions, so you can show potential customers how the products work. You should never attend a business event without ample brand materials. From business cards to marketing materials that provide useful information for your audience. This should include brochures on your products or a product catalog, along with a business card, which showcases your business website, enabling the audience to go back and look at your site once they are back in their hotel room or office. Whatever marketing materials you choose to use, ensure that you have enough to conver the entire event. Use the marketing materials to support your goals at the business event. Always close your brand introduction with a call to action. Your call to action should be based on the goals you have set for the event. If you are speaking to a large group, encourage them to make contact with you during a break, or ask your for a demonstration of your new product. For one on one connections, you may want to encourage them to drop you an email or follow you on social media.
