The biggest fear for any pregnant woman is miscarriage. The scary prospect of losing your baby before he/she is even born is the most horrible nightmare for any pregnant woman. While there are some factors and complications that are outside our control, the best hope of preventing miscarriage is keeping the body healthy during pregnancy. Here are 5 amazing yoga poses that will help you prevent miscarriage.
SUKHASANA Sit cross-legged on a yoga mat. Let your arms relax and place your hands palms down on your knees. Keep your back straight. Gaze straight in front of you. Inhale deeply and exhale after three seconds. Repeat. Hold the pose for one minute.
VIRABHADRASANA Stand straight with your legs 3-4 feet apart. Turn the right foot 90 degrees outwards and the left foot slightly inward. Inhale and raise your arms sideways so that they are parallel to the ground. Exhale while bending the right knee and turning your gaze towards the right. Maintain this position for 1 minute. Switch and repeat on the other side.
PARSVA SAVASANA Lie down on your side on the yoga mat. Keep your knees bent. Keep your folded arm below your head. Stay in this position for one minute.
BOUND ANGLE POSE Sit on a yoga mat with your legs extended in front of you. Draw your heels in toward your pelvis by bending your knees. Let your knees drop open to both sides. Hold your toes with your hands. Stay in this pose for up to five minutes.
UTKATA KONASANA Put your feet out wide. Exhale while bending your knees and squat downward toward your mat. Make your thighs parallel to the floor. Bend your hands in a namaste position. Stay in this posture for a few minutes.
