  2. As per the survey made by one website in 217 May, there are around 54,350,000 singles in America, out of which 49,650,000 people have tried online dating serviceat least once their life.

  3. This data shows the usage of dating services, to be specific online dating services in the America alone. These online sites are used mostly by singles, divorced and married people of all age. The popularity of these sites reflects that people no more hesitate to date a complete stranger.

  4. Online daters open their account, post a picture, basic information, likes, dislikes, expectations or desired partner’s qualities and accordingly the site recommends profile to the user. This sounds simple, isn’t it? But not for all and not always!

  5. Shy people or people who are not sure about the authenticity of person they are dating, find it very difficult and rather dubious to meet a person in real directly after an online chat. Plus, in a few cases, it might prove to be risky too.
