Ingredients 1 pound fresh okra, washed and dried 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon ground coriander 1/2 teaspoon turmeric 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional) Lemon wedges, for serving (optional) https://www.appgoodfood.in/

  4. 1. 2. Trim off the stem ends of the okra and slice them into 1/2-inch rounds. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes, until softened. Add the garlic, cumin, coriander, turmeric, salt, and black pepper, and cook for another minute, stirring constantly. Add the sliced okra to the skillet and stir to coat with the spice mixture. Cover the skillet and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the okra is tender. If desired, stir in the chopped cilantro just before serving.
