  1. The Top Seven PPC Strategies for 2020 by Kimberly Jean Fricke PPC marketing is the ideal way to ensure that your target audience finds your site. It provides an incredible return on investment, and it can be even more effective if you find the right strategies. As we head into 2020, you should take a look at some of the PPC strategies that will help you to get ahead. 1. Focus On Mobile A lot of people still target their advertising campaigns around desktop users. However, recent data shows that more people access the internet through mobile devices. If you want to reach the widest possible audience, you'll want to base your strategies around mobile users. 2. Bid On The Terms Your Competitors Are Using You can't afford to ignore your competitors if you want to succeed in the world of PPC advertising. Some people try to avoid competitive keywords, but the smartest strategy is to make sure you're bidding on the same terms that your top competitors are using. You can safely assume that they're bidding on your terms too. 3. Improve Your Copy When you're writing copy for ads, you don't want your words to be flat. You want to write attention- grabbing copy that people will notice. If you're not comfortable writing copy on your own, you might want to enlist a professional writer to do the job for you. 4. Try Ad Extensions If you haven't tried ad extensions yet, now is the right time for you to check them out. You don't want your ad to be ignored by people that could be customers in the future. With an ad extension, you can make sure your ads always stand out.

  2. 5. Try Gmail's Sponsored Promotions Google is the main event when it comes to PPC advertising. Recently, Google offered a new form of advertising: Gmail sponsored promotions. Gmail is extremely popular, and taking advantage of these promotions might allow you to reach a new audience that wouldn't have found your ads otherwise. 6. Don't Limit Yourself To Paid Search If the only PPC advertising you're doing is paid search advertising, then you're missing out on a lot of opportunities. You should try paid search advertising, but you should also check out other types of PPC advertising. There are so many different options when it comes to PPC marketing. Make sure you're aware of what your options are so that you can take full advantage of them. 7. Don't Be Afraid To Remarket If people are clicking on your ads, but you're not converting those people into customers, you need to alter your strategies. Look closely at your data and try remarketing your business. With experimentation and effort, you should be able to find strategies that your target audience will respond to. You should keep all of these PPC strategies in mind as you move in 2020. Take a look at your current PPC campaigns and work to figure out how you can improve them. Make sure your advertising campaigns are as effective as they can possibly be.
