Important aspects of self-study for NEET • First, understand the syllabus well • That’s true that you may understand the complete theory and all the topics but still, you must go through the entire syllabus once again every week. Understanding the syllabus is very essential because you can risk missing any topic. NEET is an exam that covers the entire syllabus and if you are preparing NEET without coaching then you must go through the syllabus entirely.

  3. Cont.. Whenever you go through the syllabus, you’ll always find something which you have missed and need to study it immediately. When the students prepare for NEET, then they also get prepared for their 12th board examinations. In simple words, preparing for NEET makes the board exams a bit easier as a portion of hard work gets reduced.

  4. Create a time table and follow it  The students should create a time table and decide to follow it completely if they get stick to the well-created study routine. Time table allows the student to focus on the weaker subjects and topics. It helps in time management and gives equal time to all the topics. Plus, students can also assign more time to the weaker topics, mock tests and a lot of revision.

  5. Cont.. A good time table ensures that all the areas are covered and the students are prepared for the exam perfectly. It brings a sense of discipline and seriousness in self-study.If students are preparing NEET without coaching then a proper time table is necessary for better results.  

  6. Practice some mock Tests There are some popular self-studies available on the market online and offline for the preparation of NEET. As we know, every exam has a pattern which is followed year by year, either it is NEET, JEE or even the class 10th and 12th board examination. Students are always trained to prepare for the exams after solving various question papers of previous years and mock tests.

  7. Cont.. These mock tests are important so that candidates who are preparing for NEET without coaching learn the pattern of the examination before appearing for the exams. It is seriously important that you understand that there are 180 questions and 180 minutes which ultimately leads to only one question per minute.

  8. Don’t cheat yourself and stay sincere You must stay sincere with yourself while preparing for the examination. If you are preparing for NEET without coaching then you must be loyal to yourself. As there is no monitor or supervisor to check if your studying or not, progressing or not and if you are lacking in any topic. If you get lazy and do not monitor yourself or be discipline then you might find yourself straying mid-way.

  9. Focus more on the weaker topics You must identify your weaker topics before it is too late. If not then it leads to overconfidence and you may get diverted from your path. It can be possible that you may strong on some topics and weak on others. But you must not get demotivated; there is always a chance for improvement. You must have confidence in yourself and work harder on your weaker subjects.
