  2. Let us begin with what Astrology is all about? Astrology is the study of the correlation between the astronomical positions of the planets and the events on our earth. Astrologers believes that the positions of Sun, Moon, Stars and planets at the time of a person’s birth have a direct impact on that person’s behavior. These astronomical positions of heavenly bodies are believed to affect a person’s destiny Our future is full of uncertainty. No one in this world knows what will happen to us in the very next second, hour, month or year. But in our life, we have noticed that on several occasions our past reflects in our future. The decisions which are made by us in past are reflecting us now. They can either be good or bad. We are all continuously travelling through this journey of past, present and future as the decisions. The worries related to our and our family’s future haunts us the most. Therefore, Astrology is that thing which we need the most in today’s time, which can take us out from this worried zone to a peaceful zone. Astrology can likely predict any person’s future happenings like career, marriage, disease etc. so that we can be prepared prior to these occurrences. The study of Astrology is very deep and on another hand, very ancient, but do you know how many types of Astrology are there? In this slideshow, we are going to discuss the five major types of Astrology! VEDIC ASTROLOGY:- This is the most ancient form of Astrology found. The origin of Vedic Astrology is traced from the Vedas of Hindu Mythology and has been in practice for millions of years and still going on. It is also said that the evidence of it is still present in the ancient texts. This is the one which is mostly practiced in India due to its origin and thus it is also known as Indian astrology. According to it, there are 12 zodiacs, 9 planets,12 houses, and 27+1 constellations that need to be observed to get proper details about their effect on anyone’s life.

  3. 2. WESTERN ASTROLOGY:- This one originated from the book “Tetrabiblos”. Today this one is the most practiced form of foretelling. It works according to the birth date of a person. Each one of us knows about our sun sign. It is determined by this. It is also popularly known as sun sign astrology because the sun’s movement determines the movement of zodiacs. According to nature, stars are divided into many regions of different sizes, each called a constellation. Connecting all bright stars in a constellation with lines, various images similar to animals and objects are formed. People named each constellation according to its shape.  The astrologists divided a year into 12 periods and during each period the sun being in a constellation area. So everyone has a correlated zodiacal sign according to the period his / her birthday lies in. The 12 signs are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. Astrologist believes that different zodiac presents different characteristics and talents. 3. HORARY ASTROLOGY:- The literal meaning of Horary is “of the hour”. It is a very unique type of astrology and I am pretty sure that most of you have not ever heard of it. It’s like a questionnaire. You ask a question and you’ll get an answer in yes or no. The timing of the question plays a very important role here. The chart is prepared on the aspect of the lunar at the time at which the question was asked by the seeker.  4. CHINESE ASTROLOGY:- Have you seen that black and white circular symbol with two dots in it. It’s called “Yin” and “Yang”. This is the very principle of Chinese astrology. Yin and Yang represent heaven and the earth, the lunisolarand the five elements- air, water, metal, earth, and fire. A wonderful fact is that here, every classic planet is associated with an element. Great right? How the same things vary so widely from place to palce!
