  4. history It was declared the first national natural reserve established by law of the Republic in 1948 and was established as a natural park in 1971.

  5. fauna It has anteaters, jaguars, pumas, 8 species of monkeys, 500 species of birds, 1200 species of insects and 100 species of reptiles.
