  1. Steps For Tenda Router Setup Tenda router setup is not difficult if you follow the quick setup steps given on our site. You can connect the Tenda router in two methods: wired and wireless. Connecting your Tenda router to a Windows computer using a wired setup: Gently plug one end of an Ethernet cable into the WAN port of your Tenda router. Connect the other end of the cable to the DSL modem. Use another Ethernet cable and plug one end of it into the Tenda router's LAN port. Connect the other end to the Windows computer. Connect the Tenda router to an electrical outlet with the help of the power cord. Turn on your computer and check whether you are connected to the Internet after the Tenda router setup. Connecting your Tenda router to a Windows computer using a wireless setup: First, connect your Tenda router to the DSL modem and turn it On. Similarly, turn on your Windows computer and click the Wi-Fi icon at the bottom- right corner of the screen.

  2. Turn on Wi-Fi and search for the Tenda wireless network name from the list of available wireless networks for Tenda router setup. Select the Tenda wireless network (SSID) and click the Connect button. If prompted, enter the network key. After connecting your Windows computer to the wireless network, check whether you could access the Internet. Setting up the Tenda Wi-Fi router using the Web browser: Once connected to the router, close all the running programs on your Windows computer, and open the default browser. Enter the Tenda router's IP address in the URL field and hit the Enter key. Enter "admin" in the Username and Password fields. Click OK to access the administrative interface. Navigate to the left-side panel and select Setup Wizard. On the Setup Wizard screen, click the Auto Detect button and follow the on-screen prompts to finish the basic setup.
