Eset Error Code Win 1601 f the ESET error code MSI 1601 is displayed, then it represents that the Windows Installer is not available for installing ESET. To resolve this error, check if the installer service is running properly. Select the Run option from the Start menu and then type msconfig. Tap the Enter key. Navigate to the Services tab and find the Windows Installer service. Select it and click the OK button followed by the Restart button to restart the system. Install the ESET product and check if it is being installed properly. Now, you re-register Windows Installer on your system. Go to the search bar available in the Start menu and then select the All Files and Folders option. Type the file name as Msiexec.exe and tap the Search button. Once you find the file, note down the location of the file. Next, type regedit in the Run dialog box.
