Some Antivirus software may block the Mail apps on your Windows 10 computer due to the settings con?gured on it. Proceed with the steps that are given below to ?x the Antivirus Blocking Mail App issue. For Bitdefender Antivirus:  Launch Bitdefender and click the Shield icon.  Select the View Features option and select Firewall.  Go to Settings and select the Rules tab.

  2.  Click on the Add button to create a Firewall exception.  Select the Email app and allow access for it.  Save the applied changes and restart your computer. On Norton:  If you are using the Norton Antivirus software, double-click on the Norton icon on the taskbar.  Select Options and go to the Email section.  Uncheck the Scan incoming email and outgoing email option. Then, click Save.  To add a new rule with Firewall, go to the Advanced section in the Norton interface.  Navigate to Firewall and click the Settings options in the Application Blocking section.  Now, click Add application and add the email client app.  You will start receiving emails from the email application. Kaspersky:  Open Kaspersky and click the Settings icon at the right corner of the screen.  Select the Protection tab and select Mail Antivirus.  Launch Settings and select the Additional tab.  Now, remove the block on your email clients. AVG:  Open the AVG application and go to the Internet Security section.  Go to the Settings from Menu. Then, click Components.  Select the Firewall feature and click Customize.  Go to the Network Pro?les section and change the current network from Public to Private.   If it is already set to Private, change it to Public.  You will now be able to access your emails. Avast:  Launch Avast and go to Settings.  Select Components and locate the Mail Shield section.  Customize the settings to allow emails.
