Step 1: Finding the IP address of the router To find the IP address of the router on a Windows computer, press the Windows and R buttons together. When the Run dialog box appears, type “cmd” and click the OK button. When the Command Prompt window appears, type “ipconfig.” Then, press the Enter key. You can locate the IP address of the router in the Default Gateway section. Step 2: Configure DHCP Settings Enter the IP address of the router in a web browser. The default username is admin and the password is admin. Type the credentials in the user login window and click on the Log In button. When you are on the TP-Link router’s page, select the Advanced Settings section on the left panel for Tp-link router DHCP setting. Select the DHCP option and navigate to DHCP settings. Now, select the radio button next to the Enable option. You can now set the range of the IP addresses assigned by the router to the devices that get connected to it.
