  1. How to Stop Snoring - A Proven Therapeutic Method Snoring is caused by the vibration of the soft palate and uvula, a tissue structure at the back of the tongue. These structures are designed to guard against the passage of air during sleep. When these structures vibrate as they should during sleep, they cause sounds similar to that of a soft palate clanging or a popcorn machine going off. As sleep continues, these noisy sounds increase in frequency and then become frightening. Because these airways are meant to provide a comfortable place for the nose and mouth to breathe, a reduction in airflow through this area can cause these structures to relax and collapse, thus resulting in loud snoring. There are several stop snoring tips that can help reduce this type of sleep disorder. The simplest way to prevent snoring is to sleep on your side, as this position provides a natural inclination for the head to be elevated. For those who sleep on their back however, elevating the head by using pillows or special bedding can prevent this position from promoting this type of breathing pattern. The reason why the head should not be raised during sleep is that the tongue tends to fall backwards to the opening of the airway. By sleeping on your side, this muscle will maintain the tongue in the forward position, allowing the flow of air to pass through unobstructed. This simple strategy, along with keeping the head in an elevated position during the night, can keep snoring at bay. Another tip for those looking to stop snoring is to lose weight. Weight issues can affect the soft palate, which is why it is so important to reduce weight if you are overweight or obese. If you do lose weight, the muscles of the tongue, jaw, and nasal passages may begin to relax more naturally. This can result in less vibration during sleep, thus eliminating snoring during sleep. This may also apply if you tend to sleep on your back, as keeping your head elevated can help keep the tongue from falling backward during sleep. A third remedy is to receive surgery for a medical condition called sleep apnea, also known as sleep apnoea. The medical condition occurs when the soft palate collapses and the airway collapse during sleep. Because the airway collapses, it prevents the air from passing through, and loud snoring occurs. If you have this condition, you should consider getting palatal implants to strengthen your airway and prevent snoring. If you use these methods or techniques, you will be surprised how effective they are in stopping snoring. If you want to get rid of snoring permanently, the best method is to get yourself treated with a CPAP machine. CPAP improves airflow through the airway by forcing it open. It improves the functioning of the soft palate and stops the collapse of the airway while you are sleeping. Fine here the Sleep connection Review for your snoring Issue.
