  2. What is PMJJBY ? • An insurance policy called PMJJBY(Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana) offers life insurance protection against fatalities from any source. It is a yearly cover with a one-year term.  • The policyholder is required to pay a yearly premium of Rs. 330. A single instalment of the premium will be automatically taken out of the policyholder's savings account using the auto debit option. To avoid a fine, premium payments must be sent before or on the 31st of each month.
