  1. How to Create a Subdomain For Your Website A subdomain is a part of your main domain name that will allow you to manage different sections of your website. You can create multiple subdomains or child domains on your main domain. For example: company.yourwebsite.com In this example, ‘company’ is the subdomain, ‘your website’ is the primary domain and ‘.com’ is the top-level domain (TLD). You can use any text as your subdomain, but you want to make sure it’s easy to type and remember. Want to create a Domain on your cPanel? Read: How to Add a New Domain To Cpanel? Use Cases of Subdomain The most not unusual use-case of a subdomain is for growing a testing or staging version of an internet site. Often developers will take a look at new plugins and updates on a subdomain staging website earlier than publishing them. Every other common use of a subdomain is to create an internet eCommerce keep. Often organizations need a separate subdomain to handle transactions because eCommerce sites commonly require a greater complicated installation. We've got additionally visible organizations to use subdomains for mobile websites (m.yoursite.com), area-unique websites (uk.yoursite.com), and creating sub-sections of the website. You could use a subdomain to serve a selected organization of customers in your site like ‘guest.yourwebsite.com’, ‘consumer.yourwebsite.com’, and greater. That is how internet site builder structures like WordPress.com, blogger.com, and others offer custom websites to users.

  2. Want to know the date or year the website page was created? Read: How to find out when a webpage was created? Simple Steps To Create Subdomain in cPanel Log in to your cPanel account Once you have a login to cPanel, navigate to the Domain section. Then click on the ‘Subdomains’ option. Here you will see a new page with 3 textboxes opened. You can also notice that 'no Subdomains are configured' at the bottom. Now enter the desired prefix in the Subdomain text box. Select the desired Domain Name from the drop-down menu. Then enter the home directory for the subdomain in the Document Root text box. Please note that the house icon represents the home directory of the cPanel account. The Document Root text box specifies the location of the new subdomain's directory in relation to the home directory of the cPanel account. For example, if you type a subdomain in the Directory text box and your cPanel account's home directory is /home/example, the subdomain will be created in the /home/example/subdomain.example.com/ directory. The system automatically fills this text box with the fully qualified domain name of the subdomain Also, note that you cannot use these directories as a document root: Click on the ‘Create’ button and your subdomain will be created now. To open the subdomain’s main directory with the File Manager interface then click the link under Document Root that corresponds to that subdomain.            Want to know the working process of a Website?
