  1. Aurora-Viewing, know on time to explore the North Yellowknife is one of the finest locations to experience nature's magic, whether we talk about Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights. The reason is its geographical location which makes it able to offer more clear nights in comparison with other northern locations. At Aurora Village, what we seek is adventure, fun and exotic view. The tour is largely contigent on weather and the efforts put in by the orgainser and other guides heading the same. This guidance enables one to view Aurora against different geographic landscapes adding to the expereince of excursion. Also, assistance is provided to participants in taking fine pictures of the spot to beautify their gala. While the tour? Whether one makes a trip during end summer or winter seasons, he will get to explore this amazing city of Canada. World Class Aurora viewing in an indigenuous setting provides heated seats.

  2. This trip of two hours has got multiple stops starring Legislative Assembly of the NWT, memento gift shop , the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre, also a refreshing drive covering downtown and Old Town area. A great view of Great Slave Lake, Old Town and the city can be enjoyed from Pilot’s Monument. Ideal time for Aurora-Viewing One can expereince the Aurora tour during Autumn as well as Winter season but the best of all starts by the mid-August and goes till end of September and from mid-November to mid-April. This range of time is ideal because we have relatively clearer skies and much more darkness than other times of the year. Since, Yellowknife is located at high latitude that when summer arrives and axis of earth tilts towards sun it results in receiving much more daylight which makes it tedious to view the aurora even when it is present which is miserable. On the other front, much more darkness is experienced during the winters, which makes aurora viewing favourable. During other seasons, view may not be as good due to unclear skies. Maximize Aurora-Viewing Chances The aurora can be seen in the Yellowknife area in the vicinity of 240 days of the year when skies are clear and darkness dominates. In the summer, we have the midnight sun and there is too much daylight to see it. For maximising the chances to see the view one is advised to participate in three consecutive days of aurora-viewing. The place and view is the exotic experience in itself all in all.
