Because 928s are special! • The 928 OC is the only entity in North America completely focused on the support of 928 ownership • Nowhere else do 928 owners get: • 928 events (social, touring, tech, show, etc.) • 928 regional clubs • 928 publications • 928 tech and maintenance info • 928 racing and other track activities

  3. Because 928s are an endangered species • The 928 OC is working to prevent further losses of 928 resources, as has already occurred with the first928 Registry and most recently with 928S4vr.com • We are rebuilding or providing a home for compendia of 928 information

  4. Because 928s are unique • The 928 OC is making sure that 928 owners have ongoing resources of support • We fill in for what you can’t get from: • Most Porsche® mechanics, whether dealer-affiliated or independent • Most parts houses • The “how to” car repair books

  5. Because 928s need an aftermarket • The 928 OC works with and represents the community of 928 owners to unify many voices into one in encouraging manufacturers to provide parts for 928s • We can’t afford to be any further marginalized, or it will become impossible to maintain and improve our cars

  6. Because 928s are complex • The 928 OC is working to develop and produce technical information on maintaining the 928 • We maintain: • Technical tips compendia • web forums on tech and maintenance • Historical and reference information

  7. Because 928s can be fun • The 928 OC supports 928 events, whether they be local gatherings or regional events • Examples include: • Sponsorship of Frenzy VII • Sponsorship of Sharktoberfest • 928 OC International Convention • the BBQ and tech session at Tass’ house

  8. Because 928s deserve it • The 928 OC supports awards for 928s that exemplify the best in various categories • Track success • Concours • Engineering • Longevity • …and so forth

  9. So join us! • Over 800 owners of 928s belong to the 928 OC • We’ve set up regions all across the US and Canada and are steadily adding more • We’ve just elected a fresh slate of officers and trustees and are running at full bore
