  1. Multiple Tasks Performed by SAP ETL Tool • The SAP ETLcan perform multiple cutting-edge activities such as integrating different systems and transforming data formats including moving data from and to the SAP ecosystem. SAP ETLcan also confirm if the value of a name has been defined. The critical benefit of the tool is that data can be extracted and transformed not only from within but also outside an application. • Before going to the SAP ETL, it is necessary to know about ETL per se and SAP. • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tool is used for Extracting, Transforming, and Loading data from multiple sources to any data repository in structured and even in unstructured and semi-structured formats. SAP, on the other hand, is a software system that processes data and facilitates the flow of information, helping to run analytics and various business processes. The complete SAP ETLpackage has ERP, database systems, application servers, and technology stacks.

Now, why is it that enterprises prefer to use the SAP ETLtool? • It is because once the SAP ETLtool is connected to the CDS views or Data Extractors, the process of data extraction and mining of incremental data or deltas through the OData services can be completely automated. Further, the tool can carry out log-based Change Data Capture (CDC) from the database through transaction logs whenever the primary database allows it. Data can also be extracted from Cluster or Pool tables to a data repository such as a data warehouse or the SAP Data Lake with the SAP ETLtool. • One other advantage of the SAP ETLtool is that data is auto-merged with Deltas, ensuring real-time updating on Snowflake, Redshift, Amazon S3, Azure Synapse.
