Enovas goals towards 2010:

4 TWh heat energy from renewable energy

sources, heat pumps and from waste heat

3 TWh electricity from wind mills

5 TWh energy saving in households, buildings and

industry, and other renewable energy sourses

The total goal is 12 TWh saved energy and produced

renewable energy in 2010

External thermography of south facing facade.

Balcony doors and windows have poor thermal quality and dominate the heat losses through the facade (lighter color show higher surface temperature and the highest heat loss)

Thermography of the interior show thermal bridges where the roof meet the wall and where the wall meet the floor. Also the electrical installations have very low surface temperatures.

60 kWh/m² x 73 m² = 4 380 kWh

Costs and payback time:

Investment for only the passive house measures: 3 370 Euro

Energy price of 0,12 Euro result in a

payback time of 10 year

Investment including heat pump: 5 060 Euro

payback time 11 year

The goal for renovation is to optimize

investments for energy saving, and

investments for use of renewable energy sources, and

investments in healthy, comfortable, sustainable houses

and good design
