  1. What is two-factor authentication & how to apply it in Binance? What is two-factor authentication & how to apply it in Binance? When you are creating an account on Binance for the first time, it asks you to enable two factor authentication. It is a crucial step to defend your account from hackers who are trying to steal your account credentials. So, what is it? In simple words 2FA is the process of entering the password two times to log in to your account. It keeps your account safe and secure. We are going to tell you about it to make sure your Binance account does not get hacked. However if you still need help, you can call on the Binance Support Number to get more information. What is 2FA? So, two-factor authentication is the process of enabling the password system two times. There are three ways of doing it. 1. Yubikey 2. Google Authenticator

  2. 3. SMS Verification Yubikey - Yubikey is a hardware authentication device developed by Yubico. Since it is a hardware device, you need to enter it every time in the USB port to authenticate your Binance account to use it. To enable it, Go to Binance account, from the menu choose Security. Then there are multiple options from which we will select 2FA. There Again select Yubikey. From there, follow the instructions, and you will enable it. Google Authenticator App - The second way is to enable the Google auth app for 2FA. First, you have to download the app from the Google Play Store or Apple app store. Open the App, then you the app will give you a 16 Digit number, make sure to save it. If you ever lose your device, this 16 Digital code is the only way to get back your account. Now, Go to Binance account, in 2FA, you will see the Google Authentication option. Follow the steps to enable it. Every time you want to login into your Binance account, it will give you a different password, thus saving your account from hackers.

  3. SMS Authentication - This is the least secure 2FA for your Binance account. Since this feature depends on a condition whether your country supports Binance system or not, so if it does, you can use it for verification purposes every time, you need a secure login to your Binance account. However many experts insist on not using it since it is not safe. Again go to Security. There you will see the option ‘SMS Authentication.’ Follow the process to allow it. This was our blog on how to secure your Binance account from hackers. These steps are only the beginning. As you explore, there are more ways of doing it. However, if you still need help then, it's better to call on Binance Support Number For more information.
