Between October 2024 and September 2025, Seqrite Labs monitored over 8 million endpoints and recorded 265.52 million threat detections, averaging 505 detections every minute. This marks one of the most intense threat phases India has faced, driven by sophisticated automated attacks, AI-augmented phishing, identity crimes, ransomware, and hybrid cyber warfare tactics.

Major Threat Categories The report reveals that Trojans and File Infectors made up nearly 70% of all malware detected, with approximately 88.4 million Trojan detections and 71.1 million File Infector hits. Additionally, network-based exploit scans exceeded 9.2 million, often targeting platforms like WordPress, Apache Tomcat, and SysAid.
