  1. Changing or removing a background from an image can be a useful skill for various purposes, from enhancing photos to creating professional-looking graphics. Here are easy steps to help you achieve this using Adobe Photoshop, a widely used tool for such tasks: Open Your Image Launch Adobe Photoshop. Go to "File" and select "Open" to choose the image you want to edit. Select the Background In the Layers panel, right-click on the layer that contains your image and choose "Duplicate Layer." This creates a copy of your image to work on. Select the Magic Wand Tool In the Tools panel, select the "Magic Wand Tool." It looks like a wand with stars. Select the Background Click on the background of your image with the Magic Wand Tool. This tool selects areas of similar color with a single click. You may need to adjust the tolerance in the tool options to ensure the entire background is selected. Refine the Selection To refine your selection, you can use the "Select" menu and choose "Modify." Here, you can expand or contract the selection and smooth its edges. Delete the Background Once you're satisfied with your selection, press the "Delete" key on your keyboard. This will remove the selected background, leaving only your subject. Add a New Background To add a new background, go to "File" and select "Open" to open the image you want to use as the new background.

  2. Drag and Drop Drag the new background image onto your working canvas with the subject. It will appear as a new layer. Position and Resize In the Layers panel, click and drag the background layer to arrange it behind the subject layer. Use the "Transform" tools (Edit > Free Transform) to resize or reposition the subject to fit the new background as needed. Refine Edges To make the composite look seamless, use the "Eraser Tool" or "Layer Mask" to carefully erase or mask any remnants of the old background around the subject. Save Your Image Once you're satisfied with the new background and your edited image, go to "File" and select "Save" or "Save As" to save the image in your preferred format (e.g., JPEG, PNG). Export Your Image If you need a version with a transparent background (e.g., for web use), go to "File" and select "Export" or "Save for Web," and choose a format that supports transparency, like PNG. That's it! You've successfully removed and changed the background of your image using Adobe Photoshop. Remember that practice makes perfect, so don't be discouraged if your first attempts aren't flawless. With time and experience, you'll become more proficient in this valuable skill.
