NEET PG Exam Eligibility • To apply for NEET PG 2025, you must: • You need an MBBS degree or a Provisional MBBS bypass certification from NMC (formerly called MCI) colleges. • Be enrolled with NMC (formerly called MCI) or the State Medical Council. • Complete the one-year rotational internship on or before the specific deadline - March 31st to July 31st, 2025 • Note: There is no age limit, and applicants have unlimited tries. • FMGs & Foreign nationals: must pass FMGE and have valid registration & internship compliance
NEET PG EXAM SYLLABUS • NEET PG covers the entire MBBS curriculum in three sections: • Pre‑Clinical: Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry • Para‑Clinical: Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Preventive & Social Medicine • Clinical: Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Anaesthesiology, Radiology, Psychiatry, Orthopaedics
NEET PG EXAM PATTERN • Computer-Based Test: English only • 200 MCQs, 3.5 hours • Marks: +4 for right, –1 for incorrect & 0 for no answer • Sectional timed: 5 sections of 40 questions, auto‑advance by section • Total marks:800
NEET PG 2025: DATES & REGISTRATION • Notification likely in April 2025, registration 17th April–7th May 2025 • Admit cards expected late July (31st July) • Exam Date: 3rd August 2025 (yet to be confirmed) • Result: expected by early September • City selection window: 13th–17th June 2025
NEET PG CUT-OFF & MARKING CRITERIA • Final cutoff based on percentile: • General/EWS: 50th percentile • SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile • PwBD (UR): 45th percentile • No fixed score—actual cutoffs depend on exam difficulty and performance each year
