Throughout the Stories of Patagonia series, we have highlighted many people who have relocated to Villa la Angostura and like grand tour Villa la Angostura after falling in love with the town and its surroundings. The town has become a magnet for people seeking a close-knit community bound together by the beauty of nature. As important as these people are to the fabric of the society, the people that grew up here form the backbone of the town and their lives and businesses have helped create the place that we know and love.

  3. Gino of El Rey Tiburón is just one of those people. He was born in Villa la Angostura nearly 60 years ago. His family has deep roots in the town starting when his grandparents decided to move here. Growing up in the town was a wonderful experience. Everyone knew each other and there was a sense of calm. Although guides in Villa la Angostura has changed in many ways since then, he is extremely proud to be from Villa la Angostura and like so many of the people that live here, he views his hometown as a paradise.
