The system is designed in such a manner that it is easy to install, configure and maintain. One of the technologies that support the development of a Home Automation system is Zigbee. How Does Home Automation SystemFunction? TheHome Automation systemis divided into two parts- Hardware Design and Software Design. Let us understand the two systems here Hardware Design- Home Automation System The hardware design of the Home Automation Systemis divided into two main modules Handheld Microphone Module It incorporates a microphone with the RF module that works on Zigbeeprotocol and a voice recognition unit. The human voice is captured through a microphone and the signals are sent from the voice recognition module through Zigbee. Important features of the handheld microphone module are: •Self-contained stand-alone speech recognition circuit •User programmable •Multi-lingual •Non-volatile memory backup •Simple interface to control external circuits & appliances Appliance Control Modules It includes control modules with relay control circuits.
