  1. Ricoh GR IIIx – The Latest Pocket Camera that you must go for Fans of pocket cameras would find the Ricoh GR IIIx attractive enough, especially if they are already familiar with the earlier version of Ricoh GR IIIx. As it usually happens, the new camera is an improvement of the earlier one while retaining the attraction of intuitive handling, quick response, pocketability, and DNG raws that look very sharp. The most impressive aspect is the small camera size that fits into your pocket like a smartphone yet can accommodate the APS-C sensor. Seldom will you find a phone of this size having an APS-C sensor. In addition, the lens quality and convenient handling work heavily in favor of the new Ricoh GR camera. Ricoh GR IIIx – Design and Build Despite being a pocket-friendly camera almost the size of a smartphone, any GR IIIx review does not miss mentioning the heavyweight compared to the size. The camera weighs 257 grams mainly because the magnesium alloy frame adds a dignified look to the otherwise small camera. The camera has only the TFT LCD monitor to shoot photos, and there is no electronic viewfinder. The monitor displays the standard Menu that includes playback, display, and function. Besides the four-way directional buttons, there’s a lever for controlling shutter speed. The power button, shooting mode dial, and shutter are at the top, and an additional dial is in the front for adjusting the aperture.

  2. The USB-C charging port is on the right side, and buttons for Wi-Fi connections and video are on the left side. Moreover, there is a mount at the bottom, a hot shoe at the top, and a slip near the mode dial for wrapping the lanyard on your wrist.
