Students should understand that choosing the right career path is very important as their whole life depends on it. This question- what to do after the 12th gives many sleepless nights. Well, I’ve been there, and most students who are currently in 12th or have just completed 12th may be going through this tunnel of confusion and uncertainty! Many new-age career paths are emerging as technology is progressing at a rapid pace. Career counsellingplays a vital role in a student’s life, from helping them to understand their core areas of interest, personality types, and capabilities to helping them choose the right career option. Due to a lack of knowledge and guidance, many students fail to execute their dreams in reality. Moreover, some students think that following their passions blindly is the right career path for them. Well, this is not true! Again, if you know that your passion can turn into a good income source, this could be the right choice, otherwise, you will need to have a structured plan mapped out to work on your goals at a steady pace.
